"Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.” Matthew 5:7 NIV

As we read this scripture the question is, what is mercy, what does it mean to be merciful?

See if Grace is getting what you don't deserve. Mercy is not getting what you deserve.

Jesus tells us that to those who are merciful to others, mercy will also be shown to them. Those who possess and demonstrate a disposition to kindness, forgiveness, and compassion are those who will receive the same.

Declaration Prayer:  Lord of Mercy, I am so grateful for all the blessings you have given me in Christ Jesus. I know you will continue to bless me with more love and mercy than ever before. As I breathe in the air, may new oil of divine mercy flow from my head to the soles of my feet. In Jesus' Name Amen
