"When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and took note that these men had been with Jesus." Acts 4:13 (NIV)
This verse reminds us that you don’t have to be extraordinary for God to use you. You just have to have been with Jesus. Peter and John were fishermen. They weren’t trained in the law. They didn’t have elite status—no degrees, no special credentials. Just ordinary men.
But courage becomes your language when the presence of Jesus becomes your lifestyle.
Because here’s the truth: Time with Jesus changes your perspective, your posture, and your purpose. That’s what turns nobodies into Kingdom somebodies.
Declaration Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You. Your supernatural power takes the ordinary and makes it extraordinary. By Your presence and by Your power, we can do great things for You and accomplish great purposes. Thank You, Jesus, that we don’t have to do this on our own—we are created in You, for Your purposes. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
