"Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. Let Israel say: “His love endures forever.” Let the house of Aaron say: “His love endures forever.”Let those who fear the Lord say: “His love endures forever.”" Psalm 118:1-4 (NIV)

Now the promise, “His steadfast love endures forever”, is repeated five times in Psalm 118. Four times at the beginning and then again at the end of the psalm. Unquestionably God intends for us to remember the steadfast love of the Lord endures forever. The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning. Great is thy faithfulness.
