"And as he sowed, some seeds fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured them."

Matthew 13:4 (ESV)

It is not your job to guard your seed. It is your job just to sow it. It can be tempting to be a “scarecrow,” trying to protect the Word and how people react appropriately to the word, but the last time I checked the word does not need protection.

God doesn’t need us to defend Him, only to represent Him.

Declaration prayer: Heavenly Father, I declare that I walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, pleasing Him in all respects. I bear fruit in every good work, increasing in the knowledge of God. I pray and ask in Jesus' Name. Amen.
